"It was a great race. I came up through the field, and had some good overtaking maneuvers so I'm really happy. I thought I could fight for the victory on the final lap, but it just didn't work out."

Nico Rosberg:
The first couple of laps were crazy in race 1. I had a tough start with Heikki. I had a go twice and each time he'd mess up the first part and then that made it hard to go past on the second part. Then there was the collision with Alex. It was a strange situation. I had to see it on TV. Before Alex really drove me close to the grass, then we drifted out towards Piquet. We got pretty close, and to me it looked like he made a little twitch and that's when we made contact^Å but on the other hand I had a few metres of space on the inside so why was I that close? What surprised me was that we touched, but in the end it was just stupid. Alex didn't see where I was, he's told me that. He thinks it's my fault, and I think it was his fault. There's no tension between us anymore now and we will fight together as a team like we have done so far. The pitstop was not perfect. I lost about six seconds to Heikki but I managed to close gap which means we had great pace today. But in the end, having Heikki very close in front of me, it was impossible to pass him. My rear tyres reached their limit as I pitted before him. Getting fastest lap means I keep the same gap to Heikki, and with Scott and my team-mate getting no points it means I don't have to look over my shoulder so much.
Race 2 was great. I came up through the field, and had some good overtaking manoeuvres so I'm really happy. I thought I could fight for the victory on the final lap, but it just didn't work out.
